Why did you choose M&P?

I was aware of M&P while working at another agent and saw how quickly they were growing in size and gaining market share while offering fantastic rewards for negotiators, both financial and cultural, with a fun, vibrant and driven working environment that I knew would allow me to progress my career in agency. I had to move!

What do you like most about working for M&P?

The meritocratic nature of the company is hugely rewarding not only from a personal career perspective but also seeing colleagues and peers rise through the ranks. Aside from this, the M&P culture is unrivalled!

What was your background before you started?

Hospitality – I had worked in restaurants, beach clubs and finally as a General Manager for a London bar before moving to estate agency.

How have you progressed whilst working here?

I started as a negotiator and worked through to management in three offices, before becoming Area Lettings Director. I was then promoted to sitting on the Management Board as Regional Lettings Director and in 2018 was appointed Lettings Director – South, overseeing the hugely successful Lettings Division of the business alongside Anna Ambrose.

Any advice for new starters?

Be enthusiastic and relish all the people that you meet! Enthusiasm is key to the success of the job as is the ability to build rapport with applicants. Both will ensure you are a cut above the competition. Most importantly, enjoy the role and what it brings you!
