At this time of the year, many of us would usually expect to be showing off our tans from, or about to jet off on, a summer holiday abroad. Instead, we’ve probably all spent a lot more time at home than we anticipated. While it would have been nice to have trekked through the rainforest, been inspired at a world-famous art gallery or soaked up the culture and colour of a tropical island, one benefit is that we’re all a lot more in tune with our homes and how we can change them for the better.
We decided to bring our ‘Holidaying from Home’ campaign, which encourages Londoners to look at their home with fresh eyes, to life by asking three London-based interiors experts for their tips on updating your home- Summer 2020 style.
First up, we partnered with Topology Interiors, an award-winning interior design studio based in Peckham. Drawing from a range of interiors inspiration from Mid-Century to Scandi minimalism, the Topology look is all about clean, stylish spaces that are created with affordability in mind. We thought they’d be a perfect match for our Amazon Rainforest brand campaign, and they quickly got to work bringing greenery and natural materials together to create a work-from-home space sure to calm the busiest of minds.
One of the best parts about going on holiday is undoubtedly exploring the art museums of Europe and beyond, and who knows this better than Wimbledon-based interiors and travel blogger Kelsey of @homewithkelsey. Kelsey’s boho-meets-Scandi home features plenty of gorgeous art, and as the (usually) frequent traveller has had to put a pause on her plans for now, we asked her to create her own gallery at home off the back of our Louvre brand campaign. Kelsey’s gallery wall features creative framing ideas, prints from local independent artists, and plenty of tips and tricks for homeowners and renters alike.
Next up, our brand campaign brings us to the colourful streets of Havana. To create an equally vibrant home look, our minds immediately jumped to Geraldine Tan of the award-winning interiors blog Little Big Bell. Known for her joyful, colour-filled styling, Geraldine took direct inspiration from the eye-catching street style of Cuba’s capital to create a vivid style that combines pinks, yellows, blues, oranges and green. Find out how Geraldine created her Havana look here.

We’ve got plenty more tips on how to bring the holiday feeling home this summer- whether you want to know the best places in London for international cuisine, how to bring the beach into your garden, or all the kit you’ll need for the perfect alfresco dining experience– over on the Marsh & Parsons blog.
