Kate Faulkner is one of the UK’s leading property experts. She believes passionately that most of the problems in the residential property market can be solved if the media, industry and government worked together to educate consumers on how to carry out property projects.

Kate’s journey started in the property market when she set up one of the UK’s first property portals and from this, she helped develop a new online service for the Corporate Relocation market. Kate’s next property job was to set up the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon and then she moved onto working with a part exchange company, buying and selling up to 100 properties a year. While working on these projects, Kate was the author of four books for Which?, the consumer organisation. Since this time, Kate has consulted with numerous property companies to create new products and services and consumer content and has presented local property market analysis at seminars across the UK.

You will often see Kate appearing on BBC TV and radio including You and Yours, Moneybox and BBC News Channel and Breakfast TV. She is also regularly featured commentating on the news stories of the day in major national newspapers.
