We have partnered with Good Shepherd Primary School since 2016, attending both their Christmas and Summer Fairs. The happy and vibrant community welcomes us to celebrate with the parents, teachers and pupils. Sponsorship boards are erected in the local area, adding some colour to the streets of Askew Road, spreading the word of each event and, more importantly, raising vital funds for the school. Our donations have amounted to £6000 since the start of our partnership, which has funded new developments for the school.

The face painter we provide for the school is always very popular and we are sure to bring mince pies along to the Christmas fairs. So far, we have handed out around 600 goodie bags filled with pencil cases and colouring books and we couldn’t begin to count how many balloons (biodegradable of course!) are dotting around Askew Road during the fairs. In exchange, we love to meet with local families and even get to know the animals from the petting zoo who are the guests of honour each Christmas.
