Macaulay Primary School is home to a vibrant and supportive school community and for many years we have felt very privileged to be a part of this. Each year, Marsh & Parsons attends three events at the school in Clapham: the Summer Fair, the Christmas Fair and the Christmas Tree Sale.

We look forward to hearing the themes for each years’ fairs and design leaflets, posters, raffle tickets and sponsorship boards to help promote the fairs. Our donated raffle prize is always very popular, helping to raise much needed funds for the school. Last year, we also raised £1,500 from sponsorship boards to go towards new equipment and resources. The parents and teachers are busy teaching the children to become caring and creative individuals, so we are very proud to be able to ease the pressure by raising money on behalf of the school.

We never turn up to a fair empty handed and our goodie bags and balloons are very popular. The garden games that we set up at our stand are also a very good distraction for the children waiting in line for the face painters that accompany us to each fair. All donations from the face painting also go back to the school.

At Christmas, we love to attend the fair to sell raffle tickets and share a glass of mulled wine with parents and teachers. It’s always such a treat to grab a sausage from the BBQ that we also sponsor each year!
